Senior Project Manager

PURPOSE:

Effectively manage engineering projects, providing direction, organization, leadership, and engineering oversight.  Facilitate a team oriented, proactive working environment. Take responsibility and be held accountable for the scope, schedule and budget management on a wide variety of technical projects.

 Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor degree in Engineering desired.

  • 5 plus years of direct project management experience.

  • Proven success in managing high value projects.

  • Ability to effectively drive engineering design and assess progress.

  • Problem Solver.

  •  Customer satisfaction oriented.

  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional organizational skills.

  • Can read blue prints and technical drawings.

  • Basic knowledge of automated equipment and tooling.

  • Working knowledge of MS Project and Excel.

  • Experience working in the Aerospace industry preferred.

  • Must be fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.

  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person to be eligible.

Other Attributes

  •  Knowledge of aerospace tooling and equipment design for manufacturing is desired.

  • 3D CAD skills a plus.

Controls Engineering Manager

PURPOSE

To manage an engineering team including hiring of staff. Assume project management responsibility on major projects and to oversee management of smaller projects.

 Minimum Requirements

  • BSEE degree.
  • 20 plus years Industrial Automation experience as an engineer and manager with 5 years of staff management.
  • Experience managing large and small scale projects.
  • PLC programming experience.
  • Servo experience is essential.
  • Experience working in the Aerospace industry desired.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person to be eligible.

 

 

   

Controls Engineer

Minimum Requirements

  • BSEE Degree.

  • 7 plus years Industrial Automation experience.

  • PLC programming experience.

  • Ability to do electrical design of PLC/Drive systems (typically on AutoCad).

  • Must be willing to travel to project sites and monitor progress to completion.

  • Servo drive experience desired.

  • Prior project management experience working in the Aerospace industry desired.

  • Must be fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.

  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person to be eligible.

 


   

Controls and Instrumentation Technician

PURPOSE

To work as a team member on small and larger scale projects ranging from a few months to two years duration. 

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 plus years Industrial Automation experience.
  • PLC programming experience.
  • Must be willing to travel to project sites and monitor progress to completion.
  • Experience working in the Aerospace industry desired.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person to be eligible.
   

   

Senior Tool Designers

PURPOSE

To concept develop, design and fully document standard and complex tooling drawings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience in aerospace tooling design.
  • Minimum 5 years proficiency utilizing CATIA V5 (R19 a plus) in design and analysis.
  • Proven knowledge in conventional aircraft assembly, new technology, automation and machine design.
  • Complete understanding of detailed and close tolerance manufacturing drawings for machined, fabricated and assembled parts.
  • Must have ability to interpret complex engineering and tooling blueprints.
  • Investigate and resolve difficult tooling problems and provides technical tooling input to proposals.
  • Involvement in concept development and stage review processes.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person to be eligible.
   

   

Seniors Mechanical Engineers

PURPOSE

Concept develops, designs and fully documents standard and complex tooling drawings utilizing proven knowledge in conventional aircraft assembly, new technology, automation and machine design. 

Minimum Requirements

  • BSME from an ABET accredited curriculum, or equivalent.
  • Certified Engineering-in-Training (EIT), Professional Engineering License from the ASME, or similar organization preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in aircraft tooling.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with AutoCad, CATIA, or Unigraphics II.
  • Complete understanding of detailed and close tolerance manufacturing drawings for machined, fabricated and assembled parts.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering and tooling blueprints.
  • Investigate and resolve difficult tooling problems. Provide technical input to proposals.
  • Involvement in concept development and stage review processes.
  • Must be thorough, meticulous, well organized and able to work effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person to be eligible.

   

   

Controls Engineer
Primary location:  Lynnwood, WA
Employment type:  Regular
The Controls Engineer position is responsible for controls systems design, specification, programming, simulation and testing. The position works independently and in teams focusing on projects involving electronic and computer system design and programming for the company’s automated tooling and alignment systems for the Boeing 777 and other aeronautic projects.

Job Duties:

  • Utilize theoretical and practical electrical engineering knowledge in directing, coordinating, and supporting the implementation of electronic and/or computer design systems for the company’s automated tooling and alignment systems for the Boeing 777 and other aeronautic projects;
  • Design, test and troubleshoot the company’s control systems;
  • Advise and provide information and support to company regarding electrical testing of various electronic controls designs;
  • Work closely with the company’s engineering personnel regarding design and commissioning of industrial computer controlled automation equipment;
  • Provide support to customer contractors, including provide services and advice on control system setups, installations, and warranty issues;
  • Provide on-site operator training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education and/or experience in Electronics Engineering or a related field;
  • At least 10 years of work experience in the electronics engineering industry;
  • Ability to do “Can Open”;
  • Proven track record of designing, testing and troubleshooting automated control systems, tooling, and alignment and positioning systems for the manufacturing industry;
  • Detailed knowledge of fundamental process development practices including problem definition, specification and requirements development, concept selection, testing, implementation and industrialization;
  • Experience with engineering design tools (i.e. Agile, Pro-E, SolidWorks, AutoCad);
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work effectively independently as a member of a team.
